AMPP Emerge India Scholarships

The CORCON Institute of Corrosion awards Scholarships for outstanding scholars (Masters, Doctoral or Postdoctoral) residing within the boundaries of India, and who are pursuing a career in the field of Corrosion Science and control. Each award is for INR 150,000 for a duration of one year.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a PhD or Masters program and attend a college/university.
  • Applicants must be engaged in post doctoral research in the field of corrosion science and technology in any academic/research institute and have completed their PhD in the last two years.
  • Applicants must have a permanent residence and attend a college/university/research organisation within India.
  • The applicant should not have received the same scholarship in any previous year.

Candidate Evaluation:

The following information should be included for review by the Selection Committee:

  • Completed Application Form.
  • Official academic transcripts from the University or Institute.
  • A minimum of two (2) recommendation forms from educators or employers familiar with applicants background, though three (3) recommendations will be preferred.
  • Rèsumè / CV (should include a listing all the publications in journals and conference proceedings).

NOTE : Application Deadline 31st December every year.

Supplemental Requirements:

  • A 600 word essay on “My research contributions and its relevance to India”.
  • A declaration stating I confirm that I have a permanent residence and attend a college/university that lies within the geographic boundaries India.
