Download the audit checklist that corresponds with your scope of work and perform an internal audit. Review the relevant course standard and make sure you are performing work to that standard. Once you have reviewed and completed the previous two steps, complete the detailed application form and submit all necessary paperwork and documentation. You then must obtain acceptance of the submittal. After this, you will undergo an on-site visit by an AMPP auditor of both the company’s primary place of business and an active job site to demonstrate the company’s capabilities.

The corrosion profession, and the certified professionals who work in the industry, are committed to protecting people, assets and the environment from the effects of corrosion. Those tasked with delivering the technical expertise to society must conduct their work with the knowledge and understanding of the ethical principles expected and required of those professionals.

The AMPP Code of Ethics is discussed in conjunction with case studies and features real-life ethical violations of the AMPP attestations. Frameworks for making ethical decisions are reviewed in this course along with the factors in the corrosion industry that can lead to unethical behaviour.

The course is an online self-paced course which should take no longer than 1.5 hours (90 minutes) to complete.

2. Enter your email address and password and click the black “Log In” button.
3. At this point you are logged into your CORCON Institute of Corrosion account and you can see all of your past purchases / downloads / training history. Please go to the profile and make sure that all of this information is correct as far as your name and address
4. On the left-hand side click the Training & Certifications tab and then click History
5. All of your AMPP courses will appear and you can click the blue + sign to show your grades and information
6. To get a digital copy of your certificate, click the Download Certification button and you can download a PDF copy of your certificate

3. Fill in the Form with the email you provided at the course
4. Type in a secure password that you will remember
5. From here click Register/Login from the Navigation menu again and enter your email as the username and the new password you created

Candidates must wait 30 days from the initial exam date to schedule their first retake attempt. For all further attempts there is a 4-month waiting period.
